Looking for an OnForm alternative? OnForm vs MotionEdge.
OnForm is a video review app with a pose skeleton and strong coach-and-student tools. It suits instructors and students who share and annotate swings, and players who use a Garmin R10 or R50, Full Swing KIT or Pocket Radar.

Where MotionEdge differs.
- MotionEdge grades posture, hand path and the club on every swing for free, rather than leaving the judging to you or your coach.
- The AI Coach (Pro) is a conversation about your swing, not a summary of voice notes.
- MotionEdge brings in TrackMan (Pro); OnForm lists Garmin, Full Swing KIT and Pocket Radar but not TrackMan.
- MotionEdge runs natively on Mac as well as iPhone and iPad, so you can review swings on a large screen.
What MotionEdge does not do:
- It runs on Apple devices only: iPhone, iPad and Mac, on iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26 or later.
- TrackMan is the only launch monitor it brings in today.
- Video cannot measure pressure or ground forces.
- It is not a replacement for a great teacher.
Questions golfers ask.
What is a good alternative to OnForm?
If you practice with TrackMan or want each swing graded automatically, look at MotionEdge. If you work with a coach who uses OnForm, or you own a Garmin R10 or R50, OnForm supports that directly.
Does MotionEdge work with a Garmin R10?
Not today. TrackMan is the only launch monitor MotionEdge brings in.
What is free in MotionEdge?
Capture, drawing tools, side-by-side comparison and the Swing Review checks (Posture Check, Shaft Check and Hand Path) are free. MotionEdge Pro adds the AI Coach, TrackMan data and iCloud sync for $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr after a 7-day trial.
